Hercule Poirot, the retired Belgian police officer who became the world’s most famous private detective, was created by the Queen of Mystery, Agatha Christie, over 100 years ago. His first appearance was in her debut novel “The Mysterious Affair at Styles”, published in 1920. The combination of his intellectual brilliance…commitment to justice…and his fastidious approach to his appearance has enthralled generations.

Of course, the outfit for this dapper detective had to be tailored to perfection. Just look at his pristine 3-piece suit, finished with a Homburg hat and cane.

In his ear you’ll find the Steiff golden button and white label with red writing that signifies his special limited-edition status. Only 1,920 pieces can ever be produced worldwide – in honour of the year of Poirot’s first appearance in print.
