Spotty the dog, with his distinctive ring around his eye, was first introduced in 1928. Now, Steiff captures the magic of the original with this precise replica. Even after nearly 100 years, Spotty is as captivating as ever.

Spotty encapsulates the style of the era. The finest mohair has been selected for his soft, supple fur. Those period-correct glass eyes ooze that distinctly childlike, playful, and innocent personality. 

And, just like the original, Spotty has been stuffed with traditional wood wool with wire inside the legs to help pose him as you wish. He even has a period correct Steiff tag with patented steel underscored ‘button-in-ear’. Unsurprisingly he’s part of a very small, limited edition, only 928 pieces can ever be made for worldwide demand.
