In 1903 Beatrix Potter patented a design for a Peter Rabbit soft toy. The following year, he was made by Steiff becoming the first literary character in history to be licensed!
Now, in another first, Steiff have created a special king-sized tribute to this naughty bunny exclusively for Danbury Mint.
Peter is hand-made from the softest light-brown mohair, with hand-stitched features and sparkling button eyes. His iconic blue jacket is made from luxurious Loden wool and on his feet are little brown shoes. In his paw, he carries a felt radish – taken from Mr. McGregor’s garden, no doubt!
As befitting such a special edition, Peter will come to you in a luxurious velvet drawstring bag. Embellished with the Steiff logo, it’s ideal for protecting him on his journey! Peter Rabbit is from a small limited edition of only 500 pieces worldwide.
