A century ago in the 1920s, each $1 Silver Certificate could be traded in at the U.S. Treasury for a newly minted Morgan or Peace Silver Dollar. In fact, both the last large-size note from 1923 and the first small-size note from 1928 contain the U.S. government’s guarantee that each was backed by a genuine Silver Dollar. Now you can acquire two of these magnificent silver certificates along with a pair of 90% silver dollars for which they could be redeemed. You collection will include:

  • The 1923 $1 Silver Certificate - The last large-size $1 Silver Certificate. About 40 percent larger than today’s currency, it was known as a “horse blanket” because of its extraordinary size.
  • The 1928 $1 Silver Certificate - The first small-size Silver Certificate and the last that could be redeemed for a Morgan or Peace Silver Dollar instead of silver bullion.
  • The 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar - Minted over a century ago in 90% silver, it was the last coin in the legendary series, treasured in the Wild West era for its large size and hefty silver weight.
  • The 1922 Peace Silver Dollar – Made in 90% silver and featuring a spectacular Art Deco design, it was the first full year of issue, celebrating peace following the end of World War I.

The collection comes with a deluxe wooden Display Chest and a Collector’s Guide, both of which will be sent at no extra charge with your second shipment.

There are no gimmicks or hidden fees. The total cost of an item doesn’t change whether paying in full or in instalments. This is simply offered as a convenience to our customers.

Does it cost more to pay by the instalment plan than if you pay all at once?
No, there is no extra cost for paying by instalments – this is a convenience that we offer to our customers.

Why do I pay for postage and handling on each instalment?
We take the total cost of postage and hnadling and divide it by the number of instalments so that each instalment is the same amount. The shipping and service charge is the same whether you pay in full or in instalments.
