When the first coins of Elizabeth II’s reign were minted in 1953, it ushered in a new era in of hope in Britain. With the last coins of the Her Majesty’s 70-year reign now struck, the country is mourning the loss of its beloved Queen. To honour Queen Elizabeth II, Danbury Mint is proud to present The First and Last Uncirculated Coins of Elizabeth II. 

This collection brings together two complete year sets of uncirculated coins from 1953 and 2022. The 1953 set includes every pre-decimal coin from that year, including both English and Scottish shillings, as well as the florin and coronation Crown. 

The 2022 set includes every denomination currently in circulation, from the penny to the bi-metallic £2 coin. That’s not all. The 2022 coins also include the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Crown which is also the first Crown to feature the new portrait of King Charles III. 

Every coin in this collection is presented in Uncirculated condition, meaning all details are clear and visible, and are encapsulated in crystal-clear capsules to allow easy viewing free from the fear of damage. 

To showcase your collection, you will receive a deluxe wooden Display Chest, bearing two effigies of Her Majesty on the lid. You will also receive two specially compiled booklets looking back on the life of the Queen. The Display Chest and booklet will arrive in your third shipment, at no additional charge.

The nineteen coins will be sent to you over five shipments. Each shipment will be sent every other month. Your first four deliveries will contain four coins. The final delivery will contain three coins.
