The farthing coin (1/4d) had been part of British life since the 13th century. The wren was first depicted on a farthing in 1937 and throughout the reign of George VI. Queen Elizabeth II wren farthings were only produced in four years, at the beginning of Her Majesty’s long reign, and then ceased to be legal tender at the stroke of midnight on December 31, 1960.

This impressive collection features every wren farthing date including the scarcest dates – 1938 and 1952, together with all four of the Queen Elizabeth II coins.

The twenty farthings are protected in a clear capsule that enables easy viewing of both sides.

What’s more, the coins are presented in a magnificent three-drawer wooden display box at no additional charge. Mounted on top is a superbly sculpted and bronzed wren, perfectly housing the complete collection.

Supplies are limited and orders will be accepted on a strict first-come, first-served basis.
