On 6th May 2023, the country came together to celebrate the coronation of our new monarch, King Charles III. His Majesty is the latest House of Windsor monarch who have been crowned at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony of full of pageantry.
To commemorate this historic event, Danbury Mint is proud to present… The House of Windsor Coronation Crowns, a stunning collection of three uncirculated Crowns, struck to celebrate the coronations of the three House of Windsor monarchs.
Every collector will receive:
- The 1937 Silver Coronation Crown issued for George VI. Struck in 50% silver, it was the first and only commemorative silver crown of his entire reign and struck in relatively low mintages.
- The 1953 Coronation Crown issued for Elizabeth II, featuring the Queen depicted on her horse “Winston” rather than the usual portrait.
- The brand new 2023 Coronation Crown issued for King Charles III in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, featuring His Majesty wearing the Tudor crown in a one-off portrait.
These stunning coins are draped in historical significance. With national symbols woven into their designs, they are the perfect way to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III and that of this mother and grandfather.
