The Brave British Tommy
To commemorate the centenary of the Great War and to honour those who served King and country, we’ve commissioned this unique bronzed sculpture. All of these features combine to create a truly significant tribute:
- Painstaking research by our expert military historian to create an authentic masterpiece, down to the tucked in laces of Tommy’s boots to the straps on his large pack
- Genuine copper pennies from each year of the war. If these coins could talk, imagine the stories they could tell!
- A specially-crafted hexagonal wooden base
- An exclusive commemorative medal. The words on the front of the medal, “WE WILL REMEMBER THEM” serve as a poignant remind of the contribution these brave men made. On the back is the classic poem, “In Flanders Fields.”
