The Men’s Sovereign Ring

The sovereign ring is etched in British royal history. When a monarch is crowned, part of the ceremony involves the placing of a unique ring on the sovereign’s hand by an archbishop. It’s been a tradition since the 13th century and since King William IV received his in 1831, the design has been inspired by the Union Jack.
