We at Danbury Mint, along with the rest of the nation, mourn the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II following a remarkable reign of over 70 years. As Britain’s longest-serving monarch, she has been a source of strength, inspiration and wisdom, not just for the people of the United Kingdom, but for many around the world.

Dedicating her life to public service, Queen Elizabeth II will undoubtedly be remembered for her many philanthropic contributions and unwavering commitment to her people, even through periods of incredible turmoil and ever-accelerating change.

At Danbury Mint, we have had the honour of witnessing and commemorating some of her reign’s most incredible milestones. Like millions of others around the world, we mourn the loss of an extraordinary woman whose legacy will surely live on for generations to come.

We are proud to support the Queen's Nursing Institute, a registered charity dedicated to improving the care of people in their homes and communities. Her Majesty the Queen was a patron and we have donated £25,000 in her memory.
